Purpose:
The University of Houston requires students to complete what is referred to as the Level 3 Requirement. To meet this requirement students must double major, earn a minor, complete two courses from a list, or integrate a course within their major with a course outside their major.

I chose to integrate two courses.
Integrated Courses:
  1. Building Systems Integration - Professor Leonard Bachman - Fall 1999 - 10-11am MWF
This course focused on "technical issues in the conception and realization of architectural design." Case studies of buildings were presented to the class by Professor Bachman and students in the class.

  2. Computer Imaging II - Professor Monica Chau - Fall 1999 - 2-5pm MW
This course focused on "the design and creation of web interfaces." We learned HTML and how to use web design/editing software to create web pages. The class included lectures, demos, handouts related to web design, as well as reviews of our work.
Site Layout:
I tried to keep the layout simple and clean:
  • The left side of the screen contains links to the various sections of the project. At the bottom of the list is a link that takes you back to the home page, and a link to my e-mail.
  • The top of the screen tells you, the viewer, which page you are on and gives a very brief description of what you will find on the page.
